Own – Village, seat of the commune office.

A classicist manor house in the village, brick; with 1 half. XIX w., with shadows, surrounded by a landscaped park. In years 1831-44 lived and worked on Bruno Kiciński.

Bruno Kicinski (1797-1844) – journalist, poet, writer and translator. He wrote pieces on patriotic and hunting themes, he translated the works of Homer, Ovid and Victor Hugo. He made the first translation into Polish of "Marsylianki" – French revolutionary song z 1792 r., and from 1795 r. the anthem of France. He was a co-founder of over a dozen newspapers, including "Kurier Warszawski" and "Tygodnik Warszawski". He participated in the Polish-Russian war 1831 r., which he repeatedly described in his patriotic works.

3 km to the east. – Zochy. In the village, a brick manor from the 19th century., surrounded by a landscape park with specimens of old trees, m.in. elm with a trunk circumference of 530 cm. Currently, the manor house is being reconstructed.
