Description of the Tourist Route “Panorama of Northern Mazovia”

Tourist Route “Panorama of Northern Mazovia” was prepared to attract motorized travelers from the Warsaw agglomeration.

This is a pioneering project prepared by the efforts of local governments, entrepreneurs and activists from this area, who formed v 2004 of the year the Local Tourist Organization.

The main element, for which LOT PM was established, was to revitalize the historic narrow-gauge railway Mława-Przasnysz-Krase-Maków Mazowiecki, and using it – alongside other attractions – to the development of tourism in this area.

The old man's line is over a hundred years old, because its first episodes were created in the nineteenth century. The next ones were marked out during World War I for the needs of the German army.

After the war, the next episodes were created (Ciechanow – Grudusk). For many decades, it served cargo and passenger traffic, which was held in 2001 r. A year later, the commune of Krasne was lent the access railway and its technical operator is the Association of Local Railways Transport (SKPL) based in Kalisz.

The cable car was restarted in spring 2006 year.

The car route is a loop connecting Warsaw and Mława, I smelt, Maków Mazowiecki, as well as footpaths to all nearby attractions – Ciechanów, Opinogóry, Rostkow and Krasny.

The route enables efficient transit through the selected ones, appropriately described areas, and indicates stopping places and activities. Hiking trails will be developed successively, cycling (with the possibility of renting bicycles), canoeing and canoeing, horse riding routes based on the local studs.

Thematic routes will concern, among others. wooden architecture, sacred objects, technical monuments, the bards of Romanticism and Positivism, Maria Skłodowska. The attractive offer is built around the subject of the narrow-gauge railway, including driving trolleys or exploring the historic technical facilities.

Inauguration of the Tourist Route “Panorama of Northern Mazovia” 23 – 25 June 2006 r. Descriptive report

In days 23-25 June 2006 a series of tourist and cultural events inaugurating the new Tourist Route took place “Panorama of Northern Mazovia”. The association was the coordinator of the inauguration “Local Tourist Organization of Northern Mazovia”, with financial support from the Marshal's Office of the Mazowieckie Voivodeship.

Inauguration of the Tourist Route “Panorama of Northern Mazovia” in days 23-25.06.2006 r. turned out to be a great success. The undertaking initiated strong regional cooperation and stimulated the activity of local communities. Tourists and visitors from various parts of the voivodeship, including from the Warsaw agglomeration, the rich tourist and cultural values ​​of the region were shown. On the other hand, the inhabitants of northern Mazovia were presented in practice with new ways to revive local tourism, and hence the creation of new jobs (own businesses), and at the same time sources of increased prosperity in this area.

INAUGURATION OF THE TOURIST ROUTE “PANORAMA OF NORTH MAZOVIA”

In days 23-25 June 2006 year (Friday Sunday) the inauguration of the Tourist Route took place “Panorama of Northern Mazovia” – a new initiative coordinated by the Association “Local Tourist Organization of Northern Mazovia”.
We would like to ask everyone interested in developing tourist offers in our area to join in the creation of this common route and its ceremonial inauguration.. Please report information about your activities and planned events and undertakings. Let's prepare a tourist route together with a wide range of services and activities to revitalize regional tourism! The Tourist Route can create new jobs and be a source of income for residents.

Details: The Local Tourist Organization of Northern Mazovia, under the patronage of the Marshal's Office of the Mazowieckie Voivodeship, begins the implementation of a project involving integrated actions of local governments and entrepreneurs from the area of ​​Northern Mazovia to create a tourist route entitled. “Panorama of Northern Mazovia”, aimed at creating attractive conditions for rest and recreation.
Currently, the main task is to prepare and carry out in days 23-25 June 2006 year of the cycle of tourist and cultural events, including the presentation of the greatest tourist and historical attractions in northern Mazovia, combined with artistic performances in selected towns (concerts, festivities etc.).
Undoubtedly, activities related to the traditions of Midsummer Night will be an undoubted attraction.
It is a mass project open to local communities, but also through media promotion for visiting tourists from the Warsaw agglomeration and other regions of the country.
The project will combine numerous activities in the region into a uniform program of stationary and traveling events, exposing routes and themed routes, which can be traversed by car, on foot, on horseback, by bike, or as in a unique case of this region – the historic narrow-gauge railway Mława-Przasnysz-Krasne-Maków Mazowiecki.
A detailed program will be developed after consultation with local governments, tourist organizations, cultural institutions, etc.. a dozen or so localities associated within the Local Tourist Organization.
We encourage you to join the implementation of this joint program and present your own proposals in your area.

Workshops for organizers of tourist services and passenger service have ended

In day 9 house 2006 year in Maków Mazowiecki in Zajazd “U Sylwii” the first working workshops for organizers of tourist services and passenger service took place.

They took part in the meeting: representatives of local municipal governments, restaurant representatives, inns, guesthouses, owners of agritourism farms, as well as individuals interested in developing tourism in the region.

She organized the workshops Local Tourist Organization of Northern Mazovia being the coordinator “Integrated Program for the Development of Tourism and Infrastructure of Northern Mazovia”, under the patronage of the Marshal of the Mazowieckie Voivodeship. The main initiative of the program is the creation of a car tourist route entitled. “Panorama of Northern Mazovia” which is an interesting offer of weekend trips for tourists from the Warsaw agglomeration.

The planned route covers the following towns: Warsaw – Mlawa – Szydlowo – Grudusk – Czernice Borowe — Rostkowo – Opinogóra – Beautiful – Makow Mazowiecki – Pułtusk – Warsaw. The route will offer attractive stopping places and activities, incl.: rides on the historic narrow-gauge railway, visiting places related to the history of Polish Romanticism and Positivism, paths for hiking and biking, reservoirs for water sports, studs, agritourism farms and many others.

The workshop inspired the inhabitants of our region to prepare local businesses related to servicing tourists and travelers during the inauguration of the route on 23-25 June 2006 year, have also become a great opportunity to exchange valuable experiences.
