Part of the city of Płońsk. Formerly a village that was the salary of the parish priest of Płońsk.

Archaeological research conducted in 1959-60 found the existence of a settlement from the period of Roman influence (I w. p.n.e.

– 4th c. neither.), with traces of houses, lime and iron kilns, and equipment for tanning hides. Among the items found, among others. temple rings made of silver and bronze. Traces of a settlement from the 12th century were also found.

In the local manor belonging to the Wejher family since August 1865 to August 1866 r. Henryk Sienkiewicz was a tutor. Here he wrote his first, the unpublished novel "Victim". W 1963 r. a commemorative plaque was placed on the manor house.
